Responsible for providing, coordinating, planning and supporting daily operational and administrative functions to the marketing and communication departments and providing assistance with projects and programs.




  • Organizes, maintains, and tracks inventory of communications print materials, event supplies, etc. Coordinates deliveries and secures needed storage space with Office Services. Ensures storage space is well organized and easy to navigate.


  • Monitors use of Marketing/Communications equipment, e.g. corporate table covers, signs, tents, banners, etc. Ensures items are returned and ready for future use.


  • Provides event planning assistance to include, but not limited to: compiles email and mailing lists, assists with mail fulfillment, tracks reservations, prepares registration materials and name tags, and helps coordinate vendor arrangements.


  • Organizes and maintains department library of electronic resources, including, but not limited to: photo gallery, print materials, infographics, case studies and presentations.


  • Maintains digital display boards and makes necessary updates as needed.


  • Takes basic photographs to supplement the National Church Residences Communications photo gallery and media needs as directed.


  • Handles daily mail functions, arranges for courier and/or vendor pickups and deliveries, and monitors and orders office supplies.


  • Completes and submits payment vouchers on a weekly basis by posted deadlines. Tracks invoices.  




  • Performs basic errands as needed, e.g. print pick-up, purchase event supplies, etc.


  • Creates Powerpoint presentations, fliers, posters, signs, and other communications materials as needed. Assists with Word document formatting and proofreading as needed. (Board books, reports, etc.) Uses inDesign to make adjustments to existing templates for materials.


  • Creates reports as needed.


  • Assists with gathering information needed for marketing content, property statistics, etc


  • Assists with ad placement verification and reconciliation with media schedules/invoices.




  • Demonstrates and maintains a positive, professional manner, manages time efficiently and effectively, provides leadership as a role model to promote a team approach, and participates in appropriate problem solving methods.


  • With respect to Resident Rights, ensures all care is provided with respect and dignity for clients, reports all complaints made by clients and/or families to the appropriate supervisors, reports all allegations of abuse, misappropriation of funds/client property and/or any other corporate compliance items immediately.


  • Must adhere to all policies, procedures, terms and conditions set forth in the National Church Residences’ Employee Information Guide (EIG) as well as any facility handbook including but not limited to corporate compliance, drug free workplace, safe work practices, all federal, state, local regulations and laws.


  • Performs other duties as assigned.



Education:          Must have a high school diploma or GED. Associate’s degree preferred.


Experience:        Previous administrative experience required.


                            Travel:                  Some


Mental:                Must have good communication, comprehension, computer and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to speak, read, write and understand English.


Skills:                    Must have working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and Internet. Working knowledge of in Design preferred.
