    STNA/Home Health Aide ***$500 Sign on Bonus***


    Join our team and enable patients to stay in their homes by providing services that are ordered by the physician, included in the plan of care, permitted to be performed under state law and are consistent with the home health aide training. STNA certification is required.


    • Providing hands-on personal care including but not limited to bathing, oral hygiene, hair care, assisting patients with dressing and undressing, skin care, and assisting the patient with toileting activities.
    • Ensures basic infection prevention and control procedures.
    • Responsible for performing and documenting all duties assigned by the RN. Observes records and reports the client’s care, symptoms, emotional and physical status, including basic elements of body functioning and changes in body function to the supervisor.
    • Must be able to recognize and report changes in patient skin condition.
    • Performing simple procedures as an extension of therapy or nursing services.
    • Responsible for effectively communicating, including the ability to read, write, and verbally report clinical information to patients/clients, representatives, and caregivers, as well as to other HHA staff.
    • Responsible for the observation, reporting, and documentation of patient status and the care of service furnished.
    • Reading and recording temperature, pulse, and respiration.
    • Planning and preparing nutritious meals. Assisting in feeding the client, if necessary.
    • Assisting in ambulation and exercise according to the plan of care. Performing range of motion and other simple procedures as an extensional therapy service as ordered.
    • Assisting patient in the self-administration of medication.
    • Keeping patient’s living area clean and orderly, changing bed linen and doing client’s laundry, as appropriate. Maintaining a clean, safe and healthy environment.
    • Meeting safety needs of patients and using equipment safely and properly.


    Education: High school diploma or GED.  STNA required, currently listed in good standing on state nurse aide registry. Must have actively worked as a STNA and been compensated within the last 24 months. If there has been a 24 month lapse in furnishing STNA services for compensation, the individual must complete another program before providing services.


    Experience: The individual must complete another program before providing services. unless STNA certified. 


    Travel: Frequent, necessary on a daily basis 100%. Must have a valid driver’s license, automobile insurance and qualified to driver under the organization’s motor vehicle check.


    Mental:  Must have good verbal and written communication, comprehension, computer and interpersonal skills.  Must have the ability to speak, read, write and understand English.
